Ataxxa Dog | 3 droppers | Anti-flea & Anti-tick for medium dog from 4 to 10 kg - KRKA
The studs present on the chien are killed within a day of treatment. A single treatment prevents re-infestations by fleas for 4 weeks. The drug can be integrated into a therapeutic program for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (DAPP).
The product has an acaricidal efficacy against tick infestations, persisting for 4 weeks for Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Ixodes ricinus, and for three weeks for Dermacentor reticulatus and a repellent efficacy, persisting for 3 weeks for Ixodes ricinus.
The ticks already present on the chien at the time of treatment may not be killed for two days following treatment administration and may remain fixed and visible. Also it is recommended to remove the ticks present during the application of the treatment, in order to avoid their attachment and the taking of blood meal.
A single treatment provides repellent (anti-feeding) activity against the sandfly Phlebotomus perniciosus for three weeks and against the Aedes aegypti mosquito from 7 days up to 14 days after treatment.
What is the best flea treatment?
A dominant question because many anti-flea treatments exist. There are almost as many anti-fleas as there are forms: necklace, spray, tablets, pipettes (spot-on) Or soft shampoo. How to radically eliminate fleas?
If only we had a magic wand. If your dog has fleas it means that his environment has them. This is why we advise:
- Avoid flea infestation: A preventive treatment on your pet can prevent rather than cure.
- In case of infestation, treat the environment: Based on manual or automatic diffusers in your home.
- Clean your house: Vacuum your floors, carpets, curtains, sofas and armchairs then wash your cushions and bed linen.
How to find a nest of fleas?
Up in a tree, right? Enough joking, you will be able to visually know if your animal is contaminated if you find small black droppings on the head and neck. As for your child, a comb can also help you with the task.

1- Take a pipette out of the packaging.
2- Keep the applicator of the pipette in a vertical position.
3- Press on the narrow part of the pipette to ensure that all the content is in the main body of the pipette, rotate and detach the cap. Place the stopper upside down on the pipette.
4- Press and turn the cap to puncture the pipette, then remove the pipette cap.
For dogs from 4 to 10 Kg :
With the dog in a standing position, apply the entire contents of the pipette evenly at 4 points on the animal's back, from the shoulders to the base of the tail.
The recommended minimum dosage is:
10 mg imidacloprid per kg of body weight and 50 mg of permethrin per kg of body weight.
