Drontal Dog XL is effective against the roundworm, tapeworms, hookworms and whipworms, tablets for chien bone shaped Drontal Dog et Drontal Dog XL contain three active ingredients whose combined action kills intestinal parasites. Designed to be particularly palatable, Drontal Dog is easy to administer in a single dose. It comes in the form of a meat-flavored tablet and can be given to the animal during or outside of its meal. It acts quickly and eliminates toward present in theintestine of your chien.

The scored tablets, flavored to the meat deal with mixed infestations by nematodes and cestodes.

How does Drontal Dog XL work?

Composition

One tablet contains

Febantel: 525 mg
Pyrantel (in the form of embonate) (i.e. 504 mg of pyrantel embonate) 175 mg,
Praziquantel 175 mg.

Light brown to brown, meat flavored, bone shaped tablet with a score line on both sides, allowing it to be cut into two equal parts.

How to use

For oral administration only.

For the traitement of dogs, 1 tablet for 35 kg of body weight (15 mg of febantel, 5 mg of pyrantel (14,4 mg pyrantel embonate) and 5 mg of praziquantel per kg), that is:

> 35 - 52,5 kg	1 and 1 / 2 tablets
> 52,5 - 70 kg	2 tablets

Manage un half tablet additional per slice of 17,5 extra kg.

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION AND DURATION OF TREATMENT

The tablets are flavored and studies have shown that they were palatable with voluntary intake by the majority of the animals tested (88%).

The tablets can be administered with or without food.

Access to food does not need to be restricted before or after treatment.

The tablets must be given at one time.

Precautions for use

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not use in dogs under 7 kg.

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the active substances or to any of the excipients.

Do not administer to pregnant bitches during the first and second thirds of gestation.
