Dosage and route of administration: By topical application on the skin. External only.

Dosage: 1 pipette of 1,34 ml allows the treatment of a dog weighing between 10 and 20 kg.

Administration mode : Hold the pipette vertically. Tap the narrow part of the pipette to make sure the contents are in the main part of the pipette. Cut the tip of the pipette with scissors. Part the hair in the area between the shoulder blades and at the base of the head so that the skin is visible. Place the pipette tip on the skin and gently press the pipette to empty half of its content onto the skin of the 2 application sites. Avoid applying the solution to the coat and do not rub the skin. Special care should be taken to avoid excessive wetting of the bristles with the product, causing a sticky appearance of the bristles at the treatment site. However, if this happens, this appearance will go away within 24-48 hours of application. In the absence of safety studies, the minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks.

Special precautions for use:

• With the animals : External route only. Do not apply the product to wounds or skin lesions. Avoid contact with the animal's eyes. In the event of accidental contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Animals should be weighed accurately before treatment. It is important to make sure that the product is applied to an area where the animal cannot lick itself. Make sure that the animals which have just been treated do not lick each other. Specific studies on the safety of the product in puppies less than 12 weeks old in contact with a treated female dog have not been carried out. Special attention should be paid to these cases.
• To be taken by the person giving the medicine to animals: Keep pipettes in their original packaging until use. People with known hypersensitivity to fipronil or to the excipients should avoid contact with the veterinary medicinal product. Avoid contact of the product with your fingers. If this happens, wash your hands with soap and water. This product may irritate mucous membranes and eyes. Consequently, avoid contact of the product with the mouth and eyes. In the event of accidental contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Ingestion of the product is harmful. Prevent children from accessing pipettes and discard the used pipette immediately after application of the product. Until the application site is dry, treated animals should not be handled and children should not be allowed to play with treated animals. It is therefore recommended not to treat animals during the day but rather in the early evening, and not to let animals which have just been treated sleep with their owners, especially with children. Do not smoke, drink or eat during the application. Wash hands after use.

Environmental properties: Fipronil can harm aquatic organisms.

Special precautions for storage: Do not store above 25 ° C. Keep the pipette in its packaging until use in order to protect it from light.

Special precautions to be taken when disposing of unused veterinary medicinal products or waste derived from these medicinal products: Empty packaging and any remaining product must be disposed of in accordance with current practices governed by waste regulations. The specialty can be toxic to aquatic organisms. Do not contaminate ponds, rivers and streams with product or empty containers.
