Carnitine intake should be considered according to the type of effort required and the lipid status of the ration (increasing need, with the fat content).
- Long effort and/or high fat ration : Continuous supplementation at a spun dose: 1/3 to 1/2 syringe per day and occasional intakes of 1 syringe to 1 1/2 syringe the day before and on test days.
- Short and intense effort : 1 syringe to 1 syringe 1/2 per day, the 2 to 10 days preceding the test
