Scalibor is a necklace antiparasitaire which protects your dog for 12 months against sandfly, and 6 months against mosquitoes and ticks.
The active substance of Scalibor, the deltamethrin, is released slowly and gradually, by friction of the collar with the hairs and the skin of the neck of the chien. The substance spreads evenly in the sebum and around the hairs all over the dog's body.
Scalibor will have a repellent effect for 12 months against sandflies and 6 months against mosquitoes. Beyond the repellent aspect, the deltamethrin will allow the collar to kill ticks persistently for 6 months.

1 collar per animal
Adjust the collar without tightening it to the animal's neck (two fingers side by side must be able to pass between the collar and the dog's neck) and cut off the excess collar, leaving 5 cm after the buckle.
The collar must be placed 1 week before introducing the dog into an infested environment.
In case of skin lesions, remove the collar until the symptoms disappear.
Accidental ingestion of this product may cause adverse effects, including neurotoxic effects.
Keep the product in its original packaging. Keep the product in its sachet until use. Do not smoke, drink or eat while using the collar. Do not let children play with the collar or put it in their mouth. Immediately dispose of the remains or cut parts of the collar. Wash your hands with cold water after putting the collar on the animal.
Avoid prolonged contact with the collar or the dog wearing the collar. This also includes sharing a bed with dogs wearing the collar: this is especially important in the case of children.
In case of accidental oral exposure or ingestion, seek medical advice immediately and show the package leaflet or the label to the physician.
Deltamethrin may cause hypersensitivity (allergic) reactions in sensitive individuals. People with known hypersensitivity to deltamethrin should avoid contact with the veterinary medicinal product and the animal being treated. In case of hypersensitivity reactions, consult a doctor.
