Product Description:

Thymovar – Varroa destructor – Treatment of bee varroasis – 2 Bag of 5 pads – ANDERMATT

Thymovar offers an effective solution based on thymol forhoney bee. In fact, this summer treatment specifically targets the colonies, nucleus et swarms. More precisely, Thymovar fight the varroosis de l 'bee (Apis mellifera) caused by the parasite Varroa destructor.

In addition, the product consists of two sachets, each containing 5 fabric sponge pads. Each pad contains 15 g of thymol, the active ingredient in the treatment.

In addition, the action process of Thymovar is remarkable. The thymol evaporates from the wafer and saturates the air in the hive. Therefore, the varroa inhale or absorb the thymol, which results in his death.

Benefits

  • For optimum apiaries weakly to moderately infested
  • For long-term curative and preventive treatment: Protection against a re-invasion after flash processing (for example with Formic Pro)
  • Finally, good tolerance for the queen and the brood

Key features

  • Natural Protection : Thymovar is made from thymol, a natural compound extracted from the essential oil of thyme. This substance acts as an effective acaricidal agent against the parasite Varroa destructor, while being gentle on bees and the environment.
  • Proven effectiveness : Thymovar has been the subject of numerous studies and experiments which have demonstrated its effectiveness in controlling infestations de varroosis at the bees. Its targeted mode of action and high performance make it a choice appreciated by many beekeepers.
  • Easy to use : This treatment comes in the form of strips impregnated with thymol, easy to apply in the hive. Simply place the strips between the hive frames to allow the bees to be exposed to the thymol and benefit from its insecticidal properties.
  • Eco-friendly : Unlike some chemicals, Thymovar does not leave harmful residues in the wax or honey, making it an environmentally friendly solution and compatible with organic beekeeping.
