Fiprotec Combo 50 mg/60 mg anti flea, anti tick, is a spot-on solution for cats and ferrets.
FOR CATS
To be used against flea infestations alone or mixed infestations by fleas and ticks and/or chewing lice:
- Elimination of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.). The insecticidal efficacy against new infestations by adult fleas persists for 4 weeks. Prevention of flea multiplication by inhibiting the development of eggs (ovicidal activity) laid by adult fleas for 6 weeks after application,
- Elimination of ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus). The product has an acaricidal efficacy against ticks that persists, according to experimental data, for up to 2 weeks.
- Elimination of chewing lice (Felicola subrostratus). The veterinary medicinal product can be integrated into a treatment programme for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD), once it has been diagnosed beforehand by the veterinarian.
FOR FERRETS
To be used against flea infestations alone or mixed infestations by fleas and ticks:
- Elimination of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.). The insecticidal efficacy against new infestations by adult fleas persists for 4 weeks. Prevention of flea multiplication by inhibiting the development of eggs against ticks that persists for 4 weeks.
