FRONTLINE Spot-On Chat is a veterinary medicine presented as a pipette for cutaneous application. It is intended for the treatment and prevention of flea and tick infestations in cats from 12 weeks of age. Its formula based on fipronil acts rapidly by contact. It eliminates fleas within 24 hours of application, ticks within 24 to 48 hours, as well as biting lice. The product spreads naturally over the entire skin surface of the cat, ensuring uniform protection without entering the bloodstream.

Developed by Boehringer Ingelheim, FRONTLINE Spot-On is a historic reference in the fight against external parasites in companion animals.
The fipronil contained in FRONTLINE Spot-On Chat acts by direct contact with parasites. It disrupts their nervous system, leading to their rapid elimination. This targeted action effectively protects the cat while respecting its physiological balance.
This treatment can be integrated into a therapeutic program for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD), after veterinary diagnosis.
FRONTLINE Spot-On Chat can be used in queens during pregnancy and lactation, in accordance with veterinary recommendations.
There is no universal treatment. The choice depends on the cat's lifestyle, environment, level of infestation and skin sensitivity. Spot-on pipettes such as FRONTLINE are appreciated for their ease of application and targeted effectiveness. Veterinary advice is still recommended, especially for first-time use.
The presence of fleas on a cat almost always indicates an infestation of the environment. For effective action, it is advisable to:
Treating the animal alone is not sufficient if the environment is not addressed.
Fleas are not always visible to the naked eye. However, their droppings, known as "flea dirt", appear as small black specks, often located on the head, neck or base of the tail. A fine-toothed comb makes them easier to detect.
