The Frontline Spot-On antiparasitic treatment Dog XL in the form of pipettes used by cutaneous application on the skin of very large dogs weighing 40 to 60 kg. It contains fipronil, an active ingredient with an insecticidal and acaricidal action against fleas and ticks within 24 h and against biting lice within 48 h.
Characteristics of the Frontline Spot-on dog XL anti-flea pipettes
1 Frontline Spot-On Dog XL pipette of 4,02 ml for cutaneous application on dogs weighing between 40 and 60 kg,
- Conditions caused by parasites sensitive to fipronil,
- Curative and preventive treatment of infestations by fleas (Ctenocephalides) and by ticks (Ixodes Ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus),
- Elimination of biting lice (Trichodectes canis).
- The duration of protection against new infestations is two months for fleas and one month for ticks.
Frontline Spot-On can be used during gestation and lactation.
What is the best flea treatment?
A dominant question as many flea treatments exist. There are almost as many flea treatments as there are forms: collar, spray, tablets, pipettes (spot-on) or even shampoo. The only thing Produits-veto can commit to is that a flea treatment is not universal, it depends on the level of infestation, the animal, its breed, its allergies (the collar can for example trigger redness).
