Frontline - Tri-Act - Anti-Flea, tick, fly, mosquito, sandfly - 3 Pipettes - Dog 20 to 40 kg - L - BOEHRINGER INGELHEIM

Complete protection against external parasites in dogs

A spot-on solution suitable for dogs weighing 20 to 40 kg

Frontline Tri-Act is an external antiparasitic veterinary medicine intended for dogs weighing between 20 and 40 kg. This spot-on solution combines two complementary active ingredients: fipronil and permethrin.

This combination allows the treatment and prevention of flea and tick infestations. It also provides a repellent action against several biting insects.

Frontline Tri-Act effectively protects dogs against:

  • fleas
  • ticks
  • sandflies
  • mosquitoes
  • biting flies

This repellent action reduces the risk of transmission of vector-borne diseases such as leishmaniosis.

Proven efficacy against fleas and ticks

Frontline Tri-Act eliminates adult Ctenocephalides felis fleas present on the dog within 24 hours of application.

One application then prevents new infestations for 4 weeks.

The medicine also has an immediate acaricidal activity against several tick species:

  • Ixodes ricinus
  • Dermacentor reticulatus
  • Rhipicephalus sanguineus

The persistent acaricidal efficacy lasts for 4 weeks after application.

A repellent activity against Dermacentor reticulatus appears from day 7 after treatment. It limits tick attachment on the dog.

A repellent action against vector insects

Frontline Tri-Act also acts against several blood-feeding insects responsible for disease transmission.

The product has a repellent activity:

  • for 3 weeks against sandflies
  • for 4 weeks against mosquitoes
  • for 5 weeks against stable flies

Sandflies are responsible for the transmission of canine leishmaniosis. This repellent action therefore contributes to the health protection of exposed dogs.

Why use Frontline Tri-Act in dogs

External parasites cause significant itching in dogs. They can also transmit pathogens responsible for vector-borne diseases.

Ticks transmit several infectious agents. Sandflies transmit canine leishmaniosis. Mosquitoes also represent a health risk.

Frontline Tri-Act acts through both an insecticidal effect and a repellent effect. This dual action limits contact between the parasite and the animal.

This complete protection is particularly useful for dogs living in exposed areas or with regular outdoor activity.
