Tick-Puss 2,5 mg/ml - Anti puces et tiques - 100 ml - BIOCANINA
Tick-Puss is an antiparasitic product against fleas and ticks in the form of a spray based on fipronil.
- Treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides spp.)
- Treatment of tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus).
- Treatment of infestations by biting lice in dogs (Trichodectes canis) and cats (Felicola subrostratus).
Tick-Puss can be incorporated into a therapeutic programme for the treatment of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD). The insecticidal efficacy against new infestations by adult fleas persists for up to 6 weeks in cats and up to 3 months in dogs, depending on the environmental context.
The duration of the product's acaricidal efficacy is 4 weeks against ticks, depending on the environmental infestation pressure.
What is the best flea treatment?
A dominant question as many treatments exist. There are almost as many antiparasitics as there are forms: collar, spray, tablets, pipettes (spot-on) or even shampoo. The only thing that Produits-veto can commit to is that a flea treatment is not universal, it depends on the level of infestation, the animal, its breed, its allergies (the collar can for example trigger redness). It is not an exact science so you should consult your vet for the first applications and consult them again for any adverse effects. How do you radically eliminate fleas?
If only we had a magic wand. If your dog has fleas, this means its environment has them too. That is why we recommend:
- Prevent infestation: A preventive treatment on your animal helps to prevent rather than cure.
- In case of infestation, treat the environment: Using manual or automatic diffusers in your home.
- Clean your home: Vacuum your floors, carpets, curtains, sofas and armchairs, then wash your cushions and bed linens.
How do you find a flea nest?
At the top of a tree, right? All joking aside, you can tell visually if your animal is contaminated if you find small black droppings on the head and neck. As with your child, a comb can also help you in this task.
