The Vétédine solution is a disinfectant and antiseptic for cattle, sheep, horses, pigs, dogs and cats.

The Vétédine solution is used for:

Antisepsis of the skin, mucous membranes and surgical sites
Adjunctive treatment of infected wounds.

The Vétédine solution is an aqueous solution of povidone iodine; it has the antiseptic and antifungal properties of iodine. It is also active against the sporulated forms of bacteria, yeasts and fungi.
