Lactomuscle is a complementary feed for the muscular support of horses. It can be given daily at a dose of 30 ml or before intense exercise at 60 ml directly into the animal's mouth. Provides sodium citrate.

During exercise, the appearance of H+ ions in the muscles and blood alters the pH and the acid-base balance, causing disruptions in muscular contractions and in the production of energy in the form of ATP (Adenosine TriPhosphate).
The body naturally has buffer molecules (bicarbonates, phosphates, etc.) that help maintain the acid-base balance. In athletes, where this balance is fragile, supplementation with buffering substances may improve the capacity of the buffer system, i.e. the elimination of lactate, and push back the fatigue threshold.

LACTOMUSCLE is mainly composed of sodium citrate, known as a buffering agent.

LACTOMUSCLE is particularly recommended for athletic horses prone to post-exercise muscular disorders.
